The Conaway Ranch is the largest contiguous land holding under private ownership in Yolo County. Recent years have seen a concerted effort by Conaway to move in the direction of "wildlife friendly" farming practices while maintaining the high productivity of our tenant farmers.

While Conaway Ranch is primarily a rice ranch, other crops grown include alfalfa, wheat, tomatoes, and safflower.
